PR-04 Retention Aid is formulated with modified polyacrylamide and a microparticle component. Through charge neutralization and bridging mechanisms, it effectively captures fibers, fillers, and fines, significantly improving retention rates and drainage performance, reducing white water solids, saving energy, and lowering consumption. It also reduces fabric plugging and forming fabric wear, minimizes two-sidedness and linting/picking, improves paper formation, and increases machine speed and production efficiency. It is compatible with wet end additives such as sizing agents, dry strength agents, and biocides, and is suitable for various papermaking systems including cultural paper, packaging paper, and tissue paper.

Application Instructions
Addition method
Prepare the solution using room temperature clean water. Recommended dissolution concentration is 0.1%–0.2%. After complete dissolution, let it stand for 15–20 minutes for ageing. Then add continuously via a metering pump at the fan pump inlet, pulp mixing chest, or front end of the headbox.
Recommended dosage
Based on absolute dry pulp:
- Cultural paper and tissue paper: 120–250 g/t
- Linerboard and high-filler white board: 200–350 g/t

Storage conditions
Store in a dedicated, cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, heavy pressure, and keep away from strong acids, strong alkalis, and other chemical additives. Prevent moisture absorption and caking.
