Circulating Water Scale Inhibiting Agent

PR-11 Cooling Water Scale Inhibition Agent is formulated with an organic phosphonate, polycarboxylic acid, and specialty dispersant system. A phosphorus-free, environmentally friendly formulation is also available. It effectively inhibits the formation of scale such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and silicates. It addresses common issues in the paper industry's circulating water systems, including high fiber content, high filler levels, high hardness, high alkalinity, scale tendency, and clogging. It reduces equipment downtime for cleaning, lowers energy and water consumption in paper production, and improves production efficiency. It provides good corrosion inhibition for commonly used carbon steel and stainless steel equipment in papermaking circulating water systems, effectively slowing the corrosion and aging of pipes, heat exchangers, and paper machine cooling components, thereby extending equipment service life.
