Applications & Features

WT-103 Polymeric Ferric Sulfate (PFS) is a new type of inorganic polymer flocculant with high iron content and stable basicity. It is effective within a pH range of 4.0–11.0. Its performance in phosphorus removal, COD removal, and color removal is superior to that of PAC, making it particularly suitable for high-turbidity, high-color, and acidic industrial wastewater. It is widely used in municipal sewage phosphorus removal, printing and dyeing wastewater, papermaking high-color wastewater, electroplating wastewater, chemical acidic wastewater, mining and metallurgical wastewater treatment, as well as advanced drinking water purification.

FAQ

Q1: Between solid and liquid PFS, which one is easier to use?

▶ Liquid PFS can be dosed directly without dissolution, saving labor – ideal for large-scale wastewater treatment plants. Solid PFS has lower freight costs and is easier to store – suitable for applications with small dosages or where no dissolution tank is available on site.

Q2: Can it be used together with PAM (polyacrylamide)?

▶ Yes. Add PFS first for coagulation, then add PAM as a coagulant aid. This results in larger flocs, faster settling, clearer effluent, and easier sludge dewatering.
