This Agent keeps stable paper color and uniform ink absorption. It can fully or partially replace internal sizing Agent. It delivers outstanding water resistance and fits all kinds of cultural paper, packaging paper and corrugated paper. It upgrades paper grade and printing performance. It is widely applicable to cultural paper, packaging paper, cardboard and specialty paper made from various pulp materials.

Usage Method

Gelatinize the Surface Sizing Agent before use. Add the agent continuously through a metering pump into the inlet pipeline of the sizing pump. For high-speed paper machines, install a static mixer behind the sizing pump. It can greatly improve mixing efficiency.

A: Internal sizing is added in the wet end to realize overall hydrophobicity. Surface sizing forms a modified film on the paper surface, focusing on improving surface performance without affecting internal paper quality.

Q: Can surface sizing be used together with internal sizing?

A: Yes. It can be combined with our AKD and rosin internal sizing Agent. The combination greatly enhances water resistance and surface quality for better overall performance.

Q: How to improve cracks and uneven film after surface sizing?

A: Reasonably control sizing concentration and drying temperature, adjust coating weight. Add matching additives to improve emulsion compatibility and avoid excessively fast or thin film formation.
