Application Scope

 

 

This product is mainly composed of alkyl ketene dimer emulsion. It contains long carbon chain hydrophobic functional groups. It binds with hydroxyl groups on pulp fibers to form stable sizing effect. It endows paper with high water resistance and better glossiness. It is widely applied in cultural paper, packaging paper, specialty paper and pulp molding products.

 

Usage Method

 

 

Add this product into the mixing tank, and mix evenly with pulp before use. Please use up the mixture within 2 hours.

It can also be added continuously online by metering pump. The recommended dosage is 0.4% to 3%. The optimal system pH ranges from 7.0 to 8.5. Filter with an 80-100 mesh screen before use. This step prevents potential paper defects.
