The testing scope for papermaking chemicals covers pulping chemicals, wet-end additives, coating chemicals, and functional chemicals.

Testing items mainly include three categories: physical properties, chemical properties, and application properties. Physical properties include appearance and viscosity; chemical properties include component content and limits for hazardous substances; and application properties include sizing degree and strengthening effect.

Testing methods are based on national standards, industry standards, and internationally accepted methods. Physical indicators are directly measured using instruments, chemical indicators are determined using titration analysis and spectroscopic techniques, and application properties are evaluated through simulated process experiments.

Commonly used testing instruments include analytical balances, pH meters, rotational viscometers, spectrometers, laboratory paper forming machines, and paper strength testers.

Third-party testing typically possesses qualifications such as CMA, CNAS, and ISO, and the testing cycle generally ranges from 7 to 15 working days.
